Val Gardena is a huge ski area in the southern Tyrol area of Italy. There is 500km of groomed slopes and 1200km of interconnected slopes all with cutting-edge lifts. The IKON Pass is valid in Val Gardena while the daily lift rate is about $80/day. Ski Rentals will be offered at a discounted rate.

Skiers come to Italy’s Dolomites to do one thing – ski the Sellaronda! This is the famous 40km circuit from various ski resorts through the spectacularly beautiful Sella massif. It is a right of passage for Italian skiers and Americans find it an epic day they can boast about. Val Gardena is the perfect starting point for the Sellaronda if you are a strong intermediate skiers.
