I will let travelers know which flights I will be on and will be happy to travel with you.  If you arrive September 7th, 2022 in Dubrovnik a OneSeed Representative will meet you.

This trip has a hard cap at 30 travelers and I expect the trip to be full.  I have allowed travelers the ability to cancel the trip up to May 24, 2021 with no penalty in case you are concerned with the cost based on the number of travelers or any other reason.  I do expect the trip to be full so don’t get stuck on the waiting list! 

DAY 1 | September 7, 2022 | DUBROVNIK

Upon arrival at the Dubrovnik International Airport, a OneSeed Representative will meet you and escort you on the 30 minute drive to our hotel. In the evening we will receive a trip briefing and will be able to ask questions about the upcoming trip. Catch up on some sleep, or venture out into the city to explore on your own. Tonight, dinner is on your own.

DAY 2 | September 8, 2022 | DUBROVNIK (City Tour of Dubrovnik)

Have a leisurely morning at the hotel to catch up on any remaining jet lag. The morning is yours to take a short walk through old town Dubrovnik or hang out at the hotel. In the afternoon, meet your guide and head out into the city for a walking tour of this historic port city. Following the tour, join your guide for a welcome dinner in the city.

DAY 3 | September 9, 2022 | DUBROVNIK (Elaphiti Islands: Kayak or Hike)

In the morning, take a short 10 minute walk from the hotel to the port of Gruž, where you will board a replica of a 16th century merchant ship and head out for a private tour of the Elaphiti Islands. This unique sailing experience will take you from the port in Dubrovnik, through the clear blue waters of the Adriatic, and make stops on the Islands of Kolocep, Šipan, and finally the Island of Lopud. On the island of Lopud, you will have the option to kayak 2-3 hours, or take a 2 hour walking tour of the island. Around 4:00pm, board the ship for your return trip back to Dubrovnik. Arrive back to the hotel around 5:00 pm, dinner on your own, and rest up from the day's adventure.

DAY 4 | September 10, 2022 | DUBROVNIK TO ISLAND OF MLJET (Pelješac Region Wine Tour)

After breakfast, pack up your things, say goodbye to Dubrovnik, and travel northwest of the city, about 1 hour and 15 minutes, to the Pelješac Peninsula, where you will tour this famous Croatian wine making region by bus and by foot. Stop in the town of Ston to admire its impressive medieval walls and ramparts. Then continue on to the village of Kuna where you will visit a ‘konoba’ a combination wine cellar and pub, a donkey farm, and then experience a warm Dalmatian welcome by sampling excellent homemade herb brandy, local food and some of the best wines along the Adriatic. Continue the tour through the Dingac Vineyards to the picturesque village of Potomlje, to visit the Matusko family wine-cellar and enjoy a tasting session of the world-famous Dingac and Postup wines. The final stop on the tour will be back in Ston for an early dinner at one of the best restaurants on the Dalmatian coast, called Bota Sare, where you will sample the renowned oysters that are cultivated in the nearby Malo More bay. After dinner, transfer 15 minutes from the restaurant to the ferry port in Prapratno where you will board a public ferry boat for a 50 minute journey to the Island of Mljet where you will stay for the night.

DAY 5 | September 11, 2022 | ISLAND OF MLJET (Kayak or Hiking)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel then head out on a 2 - 3 hour (6.25 mile) kayaking tour to explore the coast of the Mljet National Park. Follow the coastline of Mljet National Park to Tatinica bay. Those not interested in kayaking can explore the National Park on foot, with a hike through the Park, ultimately meeting up with the kayakers at Tatinica Bay where you will have a homemade lunch at a local family run restaurant. After lunch, head back to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax and enjoy Mljet on your own.

DAY 6 | September 12, 2022 | ISLAND OF MLJET TO ISLAND OF BRAČ (Wine and Olive Oil Tour)

In the morning, take a 1 hour and 30 minute private ferry from the island of Mljet to the Island of Brač, where you will drop your things at the hotel and head out on a 45 minute drive, to experience another wine region of Croatia. Learn about the wines that are produced in this area of Croatia, walk through the vineyards, and of course taste the wines along the way. Then travel 20 minutes to a family olive grove located on the island. Here you will learn about the growing of olives and the traditional process of olive oil production on the island Brac. Enjoy tasting the local homemade olive oil and other products produced here. Take an optional 2.5-3 hour hike through olive groves to the Village of Dol where you will have dinner at a favorite local restaurant called Kaštel Gospodnetić. After dinner, return to the hotel, a 20 minute drive.

DAY 7 | September 13, 2022 | ISLAND OF BRAČ (Hike to Vidova Gora)

After breakfast, head out for a 4-5 hour hike (approximately 8 miles) up Vidova Gora, the highest peak on Brač and the highest peak on all of the Adriatic Islands.  The first 45 minutes of the hike is uphill, then levels out to a gradual uphill, followed by another uphill section, and flattens out at top. At the top, enjoy spectacular views of the island and the surrounding Adriatic sea. Those that do not want to hike up the mountain will still have the opportunity to see these views. The non-hikers will have a cultural and educational tour of the village of Dol, which will include a lesson in bread making in the ancient way.  Following the tour, they will board the bus and travel up Vidova Gora and meet the hikers at the top of the mountain to take in the views. The whole group  will then travel by bus from the top of Vidova Gora to the nearby sheppards Village of Gažul  (10 -15  minutes drive) for lunch. After a late lunch, return to Postira. The rest of the day is yours to rest or explore on your own. Dinner on your own.

DAY 8 | September 14, 2022 | ISLAND OF BRAČ TO THE ISLAND OF VIS (Free Afternoon)

Enjoy a leisurely morning in Postira. Then travel by private boat approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to the island of Vis. After checking into the hotel, enjoy the remainder of your day exploring the island on your own.  Dinner on your own.

DAY 9 | September 15, 2022 | ISLAND OF VIS (Blue Grotto / Hike across Island of Biševo)

After breakfast, take a short walk through the small fishing village of Komiža to board a boat to the Island of Biševo. Once on the island, take a private boat tour along the coast visiting the Modra Špilja, the beautiful ‘Blue Grotto’** sea cave. After the tour, return to the beach where you will set out on a hike across the island (approximately 4 miles / 2-3 hours) and learn about the Vis Archipelago, a Global Geopark protected by UNESCO. Once on the other side, take a swim in the sea before returning to the island of Vis. Those not interested in hiking across the Island, will have the opportunity to take a 4x4 tour of the military tunnels that are located on the island. Head back to the island of Vis and enjoy your final night on the Adriatic Islands with a traditional family style meal cooked on a hillside farm.

DAY 10 | September 16, 2022 | ISLAND OF VIS TO SPLIT (City Tour of Split)

Get an early start to your day today. Wake up early and catch the 7:00am catamaran to the city of Split on the Croatian mainland. The catamaran ride will be approximately 1 hour 30 minutes, arriving to Split by mid morning. After dropping your things off at the hotel, head out for a walking tour of Split. In the afternoon, following the tour, the rest of the day is yours to explore on your own.

DAY 11 | September 17, 2022 | SPLIT (Markets and Exploring in Split)

Explore the history and culture of Split through its lively public markets. Spend the morning winding through the stalls of fresh produce, seafood, and artisan wares on a guided tour. Sample local culinary specialties and enjoy a lunch together before relaxing in the afternoon on your own.

DAY 12 | September 18, 2022 | SPLIT TO ZADAR (City Tour of Zadar)

Today, travel 1 hour 30 minutes by private transport, from Split to the city of Zadar. After lunch, head out for a city tour of the historic city of Zadar. Following the tour, the rest of the day is yours to explore on your own.

DAY 13 | September 19, 2022 | ZADAR (Plitvice Lakes National Park - Hike or Bike)

After breakfast, depart Zadar and head approximately 1 hour 45 minutes by private transport, to Plitvice Lake National Park. Established in 1949, Plitvice Lakes was Croatia’s first National Park and was recognized by UNESCO in 1979 as a world heritage site for its exceptional natural beauty. Rick Steves wrote this about the park, 'Plitvice is one of Europe's most spectacular natural wonders.  Imagine Niagara Falls diced and sprinkled over a heavily forested Grand Canyon.  There's nothing like this lush valley of 16 terraced lakes, separated by natural travertine dams and laced together by waterfalls, boat rides, and miles of pleasant plank walks.'  After your arrival to the Park, you will choose how you would like to explore this unique place. First option is to take a 9 mile hike through the many trails and pathways that will take you by lakes, rivers and waterfalls.  The hike will take approximately 4-5 hours and will have a maximum elevation of 1,312ft. The second option is to explore the Park by traditional bicycle or an e-bike. This bike ride is approximately 4 hours and will cover about 15 miles with a max elevation of 984ft. In the afternoon, make the return 1 hour 45 minutes trip back to Zadar for the evening.

DAY 14 | September 20, 2022 | ZADAR TO KONAVLE (DUBROVNIK)

Today, take private transport for an approximate 4-5 hour ride to the Konavle region of Croatia, located near Dubrovnik and the International Airport, stopping for lunch along the way. The afternoon is yours to explore Konavle or to purchase that last souvenir of your Croatian adventure. In the evening, head to Koraćeva Kuća, for a farewell to Croatia dinner.

DAY 15 | September 21, 2022 | DUBROVNIK

Time to say good-bye to Croatia. After breakfast, head to the airport to begin your journey home.
