Florida Ski Council Trip

The Space Coast Ski Club is proud to offer one of the best travel opportunities we have ever provided.  This will be a wonderful fairytale experience for both skiers and non-skiers.  Quebec is a World Heritage Site and one of the most beautiful cities in North America.  We have the advantage of being there during the largest Winter Carnival in the world and the celebration of the 400^th anniversary of Quebec City.

We are staying at the luxurious Chateau Frontenac, a restored castle in the heart of Quebec, and the most photographed hotel in the world!  We are literally steps away from the scene of parties, revelry, ice sculptures and contests held during the Winter Carnival.  The Chateau overlooks the St. Lawrence River with truly breathtaking views.  You will never, ever have a chance to stay in this five star beauty for the price included in this trip!

Oh, yes, the skiing!  FSC buses will be provided to (3) ski mountains.  Closest is Stoneham (815 acres), which offers 32 trails with skiing for all abilities.  Next closest is Mont-Sainte-Anne (2,145 acres), which has 65 trails. My favorite, about an hour away, is Le Massif (302 acres),  owned and operated by Cirque du Soleil.  This area holds World Cup races so all skiing levels will be fully tested.  Stunning scenery at La Massif rivals at the likes of Lake Tahoe and Queenstown.

Optional Events:  Montmorency Falls (100 feet higher than Niagara with optional ice climbing).  Valcatier Winter Playground, water park turned snow and ice park with tubing (not to be missed by any adult kid!), Ice Hotel, (only 2 in the world) destroyed and rebuilt every year.  Charlevoix, world famous resort city and only inhabited Meteorite Crater impact site in the world.  Tours of the Chateau, historical sites, churches, museums, and more.  Dog Sledding, Snowmobiling, Cooking classes, shopping and some the best meals you will ever experience!
